Vinyl LP pressing. Recorded in 1985, Water Music is the first Japanese solo album by Mott The Hoople keyboard player Morgan Fisher. There are four ambient tracks that are played out as a multi-sensorial improvisation on Yamaha DX7 digital synthesizer, grand piano, tape delays, bowed guitar and shell chimes. The effect is a highly contemplative album that flows as a powerful yet ethereal journey through the element of water.
I had never heard of Fisher before until a friend introduced me to her CD. I immediately fell in love with her sound and the lyrics to her songs. Kind of spiritual, but not so either. Very good sound to listen to on trips where you have a lot of time on your hands and want that perfect music to fill your ears. Kathy Fisher has a beautiful voice and her husband write great music. Together they have a perfect CD.Very Nice!!
